Civil disobedience picnic

13 billion euros. That's at least how much tax money our governments pump into the fossil industry through subsidies every year.

On Saturday 29/04, XR Ghent will take to the streets to say: stop this madness, we want to live!

We will gather at 11:00 in the Citadelpark (next to the SMAK) to start a non-violent, civil disobedience picnic from there. We call on both our rebels as well as sister organisations & friends to join the picnic. We estimate that the picnic will be completed around 14:00.

Please bring:

• Flags & signs with your own message
• lunch (preferably vegan) & water
• the medication you need that day
• earplugs
• mat or camping chair to sit on
• deck of cards, a book
• Identity card
