March for biodiversity and the recognition of the crime of ecocide

🌿ON THE STREETS FOR BIODIVERSITY!🌿
All over the world, animal and plant species are disappearing due to human activity, with huge repercussions on our food system and climate.🐘 That's why, on the eve of the INTERNATIONAL BIODIVERSITY DAY, we are taking to the streets to defend nature! 🌿
‼️We demand that the destruction of ecosystems does not go unpunished, by recognising ecocide as a crime in 🇧🇪the Belgian penal code - with an ambitious definition - and in 🇪🇺the EU crime directive.‼️
➡️ Let's meet on Sunday 21/05 at 14.00 at the Palais de Justice (Place Poelaert) in Brussels! We will celebrate with flashmobs, a concert and music during the parade.
🕒Programme:
- 14:00 Meeting at Place Poelaert (just in front of the Palace of Justice) for the start of the march
- 14.30 start of the march
- 15.30 return to the Place Poelaert
- 15.45 a word from our ambassadors
- 16.15 concert and flash mob
